Remain motivated

Over time, you get busier in life.  You may end up neglecting your pastime.  However, relaxation and leisure are crucial.  Without relaxation, you risk burnout.  Find some time for it.

I’ve been publishing 1 new article every week.  It takes willpower, as there are days when life gets in the way.  Self-motivation is the best form of perseverance.

Don’t give up.  Select your activities, mindfully.  You’ll have better chances of success.  Balance work and fun, enjoying life!

Conclusion

To sum up, hobbies are wonderful and have diverse benefits. While you enjoy them, you also learn and improve your skills.

Stay motivated for long-term success.  There will be times when you’ll feel like giving up.  However, recognize the value of fun, relaxation, and skill-building.  Bounce back as soon as you can.

  1. Crochet is my thing! I learned as a child as well, and have been doing it ever since. It helps so much when I’m feeling anxious or need to stim! I have been recommending it to my anxious friends for a long time, and some have taken it up and felt better having something to do as well. Great post!

  2. My friend was just saying how she needs a hobby. Oddly I don’t feel like I do, since my job is blogging, creating graphics and making videos. My life is my hobby, my hobby is my life.

  3. Great list of hobbies. It’s important for parents to encourage kids to have hobbies. It sparks curiosity, creativity determination and hard work. These are skills that are bound to give kids the edge over those who do not have hobbies.

  4. Love the diversity here, Sharvina you covered a lot of ground. So many of my students didn’t have hobbies, mainly because they couldn’t be bothered. A lot, I feel, was a result of poor nurturing at home. My problem is I see something that attracts me and I’m off doing it. Had a couple of nights on my own and have been watching Ultra Running documentaries. Now I want to be an Ultra Runner. Keep informing us, your Blog is great
