MailerLite review: How affordable and easy?

I’ve been using Mailchimp for my blog subscribers.  However, it was time to consider other options for longer-term benefits.  As my list grows, it will require having a larger budget.

I asked myself, is MailerLite better than Mailchimp?  After researching, I tested the platform to see if it suited my needs.  Affordability is key as it supports my blog to survive in the long term.  Ease of use is also crucial, as it goes hand in hand with better productivity levels.

MailerLite is often considered to be 1 of the best Mailchimp alternatives.  They both provide great email marketing.  However, there are some similarities and differences.  

In this review, I’ll highlight the features, pros, and cons, and compare both providers. Find out which could be more suitable for solopreneur bloggers versus large organizations. Affordability and convenience will also be something to pay special attention to.

How do the features support me better?

With a decluttered layout, it looks contemporary and minimalist.  I find it better to work that way, focusing on better productivity.  The green and white branding is also relaxing.

Using the drag-and-drop option, I saved time while creating emails.  It’s simple to carry out the tasks.  In a few actions, I achieved my first draft.

A/B testing helps to find out what works best.  Use it to better know your subscriber needs.  Their preferences are key to solving their problems.

I also found it interesting to send a series of emails.  For example, I tested a 5-day email course sequence.  Once more, through the drag-and-drop feature, I achieved the tasks quickly and conveniently.

As for segmentation and lists, you can group your subscribers relevantly.  For example, use countries, time zones, or opt-in landing pages.  I use my freebie name, as it reflects subscriber interest.  This makes it easier to manage future email topics.

How affordable is MailerLite? You can select a monthly or yearly type of billing.  I recommend the yearly option, as you save 10% with it.  However, do consider any additional specific needs that you may have.

There are two sides, as with anything else.

Cons:

• Limited reporting features when compared to others on the market 
• Although an easy tool, domain authentication could seem a bit techy.  It’s best to refer to their support guide for instructions.

Is MailerLite any good?  Weigh out both extremes.  Consider your priorities and goals.  If it’s right for you, go for it.

Who are the platforms right for?

To sum up, MailerLite is comparatively affordable.  Great for its free and low-budget plans, ML is remarkable.  It tends to better suit small businesses, bloggers, and even startups.  However, it works at a rather simple level, which isn’t best for complex needs.

Mailchimp, on the other hand, is more relevant to larger businesses.  These require more advanced, complex features.  The software is also at a relatively higher price. 

If you’re a solopreneur blogger, you may wish to consider MailerLite.  When aiming for long-term affordability, you could better control your budgeting needs with it.  Simultaneously, it’s a tool that’s overall simple to learn and use.
