What intelligence type are you? The Theory of Multiple Intelligences shows that different forms exist. Read my article to see how you can gain from understanding yours for better personal and professional life success.
Are intelligence types real?
I’m no specialist in the field of psychology. However, my business degree has supported me in solopreneurship for 10 years. I value the idea that different types of intelligence bring various benefits.
‘In Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences (1983) and its sequels, Howard Gardner proposed eight sets of abilities that manifest multiple intelligences.’ – more on Wikipedia.
The Wikipedia article gives a brief overview of the theory. Read my article, and find out how many types of intelligence are there, with their benefits. This theory can help anyone, although I’ll give blogging examples for illustrative purposes.
Intelligence types of knowledge
1. Musical
Being music smart is a great thing. You’re naturally drawn to sound. You feel extremely connected to music.
As a blogging example, you could make good use of it. You are gifted at choosing the right sounds for your videos. One music blogger I came across used to publish her original songs and embed the audio in articles.
I relish sounds as well, although I don’t embed any in my articles. I use Instagram music in my reels. Adding trending audio helps.

I’m mostly into blogging. However, I do make some videos. Read my other post, If you’re considering getting started at vlogging.
3. Interpersonal
The ability to understand and interact with others is another supportive one. It makes you people smart. You’re naturally great with social skills.
Networking with others in your niche is valuable. You can get collaborations such as guest posts. You could also be influential with your visitors.
I spend most of my blogging time solo. My home office is a special place that I love. I do most of my networking and inbound marketing online. However, physical events also tend to be valuable. Read about emotional intelligence in my other post.
4. Linguistic
If you have a knack for writing, you could be word smart. You easily create interesting content. Your writing is engaging and converts.
Any blogger is gifted when it comes to writing. However, some could outsource all the work. Others could rely on AI.
I appreciate how AI helps writers. However, I limit myself to research. Original works reflect your true expertise. Embrace the EEAT acronym (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness).
