I had a lovely drive to the seaside, a few days back, and believe that I should do things, that are out of the ordinary, again, and from time to time! Living in Mauritius, I find that I don’t make enough justice to the beauty of the island, as I simply don’t visit our mesmerizing beaches often enough. Tourists flock from all over the world, and are thrilled to be here!
A few days back, on a weekday, I put aside my laptop, skipped my blog writing, and drove to Flic-en-Flac, a beach on the western coast of Mauritius. Didn’t regret my decision, and loved every moment of it!
The drive was hassle-free, with no road traffic on that day. Once at the beach, there were rather few people, taking advantage of the sunny, warm weather, sun bathing, swimming, relaxing, as opposed to being fully crowded during the weekends. I said to myself ‘this is the perfect place to be!’, and couldn’t help but take some photos…
All photos are mine, taken at Flic-en-Flac beach in Mauritius, April 2018:

The flexibility of managing my own business from home, and blogging, have given me the freedom to take a day off (at my own discretion), and I love the experience so much, that I plan to spoil myself more often, in future!
What’s your thrilling escapade, on a weekday? Please share below. Thanks!
Coffee shop are my current favourite spots at the moment. Wet, windy and cold. 😲🤤 Mauritius looks lovely😊

Wow. It should be thrilling to live I Mauritius. Isn’t it?
As we live in India’s Mauritius (if you wanna call it as beach hub :p), we try to escape more into nature where there is minimum number of people. 😁
