How to improve blog performance? Review the listed areas. Note down stats, if available for any of these that are available. For others, find relevant qualitative evidence of performance level. After doing so, you now can have a better idea of how your blog is doing.
Conduct a feedback survey with your email list. Take a look at your blog comments. Post polls on social media, and in your Facebook groups. These are some ideas to find out more about your content performance. Analyze sales reports as well.

Polish your strategy
When I started my site Tips from Sharvi, topics were more generic. Self-improvement is rather general at large. Over time, I’ve niched down, and now specifically share self-improvement for bloggers and digital solopreneurs.
You can find 70 niche ideas in my other article. These can support you in finding new options. You can even review your current niche and see if it’s still relevant. Sometimes going more in-depth could be interesting, or nailing down your ideal persona.
Motivation can decrease over time. When you plan to post daily, it could end up weekly at some point. If you aim at once a week, it could become once a month.
Stay consistent with content creation, as I highlight in my other post. Publishing infrequently doesn’t help your readers. You do, however, need to find a reasonable pace for yourself, and no burnout.
As you polish your strategy, review your goals and plan. Use your objectives as a guide. For example, I break down my yearly goals into quarterly and monthly ones. I then plan my tasks monthly, weekly, and daily.
Staying productive is crucial to meet your set aims. Using time bounded objectives gives good encouragement through deadlines. Read more about productive blogging tips.
Working smarter techniques
Alongside the blogging side, time management is also crucial. As I’ve already listed crucial activities in this article, I’ll now focus on productivity habits. Work smarter to achieve more, conveniently.
Better productivity techniques:
- Batch similar tasks
- Time management
- Repurpose
- Templates
- Scheduling
- Automation
- Pomodoro Technique
Task batching is a handy technique. I use it and see the benefits. It helps me to streamline my processes, getting in a flow state.
Time management helps you in every area of life. When it comes to content creation, it’s the same. Bloggers, vloggers, YouTubers, and podcasters all know how content creation can get overwhelming sometimes.
Repurpose your posts that perform well on social media. When your target audience needs the content, you can publish similar tips again after some time. There will be newer viewers who need them.
Without a proper content strategy, you’ll waste time. It may appear obvious, however, not everyone plans properly. Have your end goal in mind, using the right headlines, body copy, and CTAs.
Use templates when possible. These help you save time, and progress quickly. I find design templates great for social media. I also use my text-based email template that I created myself.
Use automation and schedule blog articles in advance. Free yourself from such repetitive tasks. I also take full advantage of social media scheduling.
The Pomodoro Technique is of great help to me. It supports productivity, while ensuring regular breaks. Read more about Pomodoro in my other post.
Ongoing or frequent evaluations
To polish your site and content, you need to revisit the exercise. Do so often, or at least at frequent intervals. Once you improve things, there will inevitably be changes after some time.
I use my stats regularly. Through my blog reports, I monitor performance. The same goes for my social media channels and email list.
It’s crucial to spot any need for action on time. For example, watch for a dip or increase in traffic. Try to find out why it happened. Is it seasonal and normal? Take measures to enhance your results accordingly.
Conclusion
Use best practices on how to improve your blog. It’s an ongoing process to hone. Adopt what works best for you.
