I’m thrilled and grateful today… for having taken the time to stop by my garden, and smelt the scent of some fresh flowers! When was the last time you did such a thing? In today’s short post, I’ll tell you why I feel that we should look around from time to time, and notice the small and simple joys of life!

This morning I woke up, and before having breakfast, went out for a brief walk in my garden, breathing fresh air. The sun was warm, there was a nice breeze too. I feel blessed, to be able to give myself such moments in the morning since I blog and also work from home.

During my walk, I noticed some fresh flowers in a distant corner of my garden, and not being sure when they bloomed, I moved closer to take a look, with much interest. I examined the cute, fresh white flowers, with a little bit of yellow in the centre. I was overwhelmed by a feeling of warmth and freshness!

With some embarrassment and guilt, I thought to myself, how could I have such lovely flowers in my own yard, and yet not have noticed days before? I made a mental note to talk to my gardener soon, and also headed to Google Search, for more about the mystery flowers!

I believe that when we do set time aside, away from the hustle and bustle, we benefit much by feeling good, and then pass it on to others! Wishing you a fresh and joyful day, as lovely as my flowers!

  1. I agree with you, Sharvina! We ought to take time out to feel/enjoy the simple joys or pleasures of life. After all those fleeting moments are what matters the most.
