Happiness is important in life. It’s crucial and vital. Most people would do anything for it… Yet, what’s true happiness?
As a blogger sharing tips to make your daily life easier (my tagline), I’ll dedicate this blog post to pure joy!

Follow your life purpose
Knowing what you really want to achieve in life is the core of feeling content. Only then, you can work towards achieving it. The goals that you set for yourself should be meaningful.
Have the career of your dreams
You may want to shape yourself professionally, through formal education, the right skills, and work experience, to have the career or profession of your choice. This could be your key achievement.
Live on your own terms
You may be someone (like me) who prefers working from home with flexibility or perhaps be an entrepreneur, starting your own business. How about blogging, YouTube, a podcast, or an Instagram influencer?
Being in the ideal relationship
When it comes to happiness, it’s natural to think of relationships. The people who surround you are key. They also may influence how you feel. Your life partner plays an important role in your life. However, when you go through tough times, make yourself feel better! On the other hand, many people decide to remain single by choice.
‘To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.’ – Buddha
Having deeper goals often helps to support your happiness. For example, when you do things without expecting anything in return, you’re truly happy for the person that you’ve helped. If they don’t pay you back for it, there’s no need for you to get frustrated. You know that you supported the person wholeheartedly.

Extrinsic wants often refer to more materialistic things. For example if you wanted a higher salary, worked for it, and finally got a raise, at some point in time, you may no longer value it so much. You start taking it for granted and get used to it.

If you have everything the world can give – pleasure, possessions, power – but lack peace of mind, you can never be happy.’ – Dada Vaswani
There are endless ways to feel happy or not, so I could just go on and on. The key point is that everyone’s different. However, true happiness comes from within!
To sum up, we all want a happy life. Fortunately, much (if not everything) does depend on our own approach and attitude to life.
