I’m a self-improvement blogger and often share about self-care as well. In this article, I’ll highlight the practical side and advantages of consuming water as anyone can experience in daily life. Here are the top 10 benefits that I live by and want to share with my readers:
1. Water (H2O/aqua) hydration
H2O is essential for staying hydrated. Without it, you feel dehydrated, having a parched throat. It’s a very uncomfortable feeling and often leads to tiredness. You need to drink often to feel your best.
2. Morning habit
Starting the day with H2O is a great morning ritual. I take a glass on an empty stomach daily. After sleeping for around 8 hours without the precious liquid, I need many gulps to feel better. It’s something that I look forward to when I wake up!
3. Warm it up
Taking warm to hot aqua is even better when you rise and shine. It helps to flush away any toxins in the body. A simple detox with many benefits. I always prefer heated aqua over cold, whenever I can get it that way unless it’s peak summer and I need a chill. I also suffer from sinus.
4. Vitality boost
A rush of stamina is always welcomed. While a parched throat often brings exhaustion, swallowing up this wonderful liquid calms me down with more vitality. Don’t a few sips pep you up too?

5. Beauty tip
When reading about beauty care, you must have come across how consuming enough of this special liquid every day is primordial. I’m not a beauty blogger but I do love my skincare routine. I always cleanse, tone, moisturize, and also aim to eat and drink right.
6. Healthy alternative
Choosing H2O over other beverages is often the best choice for me. A natural, pure and simple preference, so effective as a thirst quencher. I’ve surprised some people before when I told them that I want to have a glass of it instead of other fancier drinks. I had left my hosts amazed when visiting them while they were offering hospitality (before the lockdown).
7. Avoid excess sugar
Choosing aqua is a good option to help avoid exaggerated amounts of sugary beverages. I only take soft drinks on special occasions. This is a habit that supports controlling it. It has helped me in doing so.
8. Avoid excess alcohol
While liquor is great for entertainment when it comes to exorbitant amounts of intake, better be careful. Taking the habit of choosing aqua over alcohol may be hard, but it does have benefits. This is a very personal choice and can be a difficult one too. However, it could help many if they aim to reduce the habit of liquor.
9. Cheap yet invaluable
H2O is inexpensive, yet so valuable… It’s invaluable! Ironically enough, it’s also a scarce resource in many places of the world. While some take it for granted, others pray that they get enough supply daily. It’s also used in many other ways, including bathing, washing clothes, cleaning, running factories, and so much more.
10. Vital for survival
Last but not least, you just cannot live without it! It’s essential, a basic need for survival. Just as oxygen, food, and shelter are primordial, you need enough of it daily. So, after all, it’s of top importance, although seen as merely a simple refreshment.
In summer, sweating and being thirsty tend to automatically make people yearn for water. In winter if you don’t feel too thirsty, you may tend to consume less liquid. Taking hot soups is a helpful idea. Don’t neglect being hydrated properly.
I choose H2O as my best drink, although I do enjoy others also. How meaningful is it to you? I’m sure that you must be valuing other beverages as well. However, would you agree that aqua is the most necessary in life?

I just love this post and am now running to grab a new bottle of water. I cannot tell you how crazy but true it is… at how much more energy I have when I am properly hydrated by drinking water….. not juice or any other drink ….. but the recommended 64 ounces of H2O each day. It is amazing how I feel when I do and it is worth it because your skin loves it too!
