Have you ever considered trying face yoga? It has many benefits for everyone and at any age. Read my blog post to see how adopting face yoga daily can improve your life for the better…
Disclaimer: My blog is to be used for general information, inspirational, and motivational purposes. I share things that I’ve learnt and experienced. In case of need, do seek help from a professional in the relevant field.
I’m not a yoga teacher, but a self-improvement blogger who also shares self-care tips. I, personally, have been practising face yoga for more than a year. In this blog post, I’ll share some ideas and experiences of my own.
Relaxation and facial toning
Yoga, in general, helps you to relax and recharge. Face yoga concentrates on the facial muscles. Make the most of these techniques if you choose to.

Face Yoga Routine
Have a dedicated corner
To begin, find a convenient, quiet corner. Make yourself comfortable and ensure no distractions. It’s advisable to inform others at home not to disturb, or better still, to join you in the sessions.
My experience
As I already mentioned, I’ve been practising face yoga daily. While I still have firm skin with no wrinkles, I did, however, see an improvement in the shape of my face, which is naturally oval. Facial exercises have helped me slim down my face, which was getting neglected for some time. I saw the benefits after a few weeks of regular practice.
Secondly, I enjoy the feeling of relaxation of my eye area and facial muscles. It’s soothing, brings me serenity and calms down my facial expressions. It loosens any tensions that I may have had earlier that day. Less frowning… more smiles!
How breathing yoga helps me
I enjoy breathing exercises as well, as they help me calm down, feeling in control. I also get a pep of energy from breathing in more oxygen. When practised daily, I see that it helps me to control my sinus, which I’ve had for some years already (based on my personal experience).

Makes me joyful
Having incorporated yoga into my daily routine, I have better self-discipline. This, in turn, helps me to keep up with my set life goals. I persevere and keep moving forward instead of procrastinating or losing focus on my priorities.
Knowing that I have to start a session of face yoga makes me eager and motivated, as I relish the benefits that I get from it. It’s not a chore… but something that I look forward to… joyfully!
Proper skincare
Having a daily skincare routine is vital. Proper cleansing, toning, moisturising and using an appropriate sunscreen, maybe even an eye cream and serum (if needed) are the basics. Also, do use a face scrub and face mask once or twice weekly (depending on your skin type). Those with oily to combination skin may prefer cleansing and moisturizing gels.
Have a nutritious, balanced diet, drink plenty of water, and ensure regular physical exercise. Avoid excessive intake of alcohol, nicotine, sugar, and so on. In brief, enjoy a healthy lifestyle!
Learn the techniques
Learn the techniques, and exercise your facial muscles daily. It’s a great ally of your skincare routine, as they work hand in hand. Most importantly, feel at your very best… relax and recharge, enjoying each daily session.
Conclusion
To sum up, face yoga is helpful. Make the most of it to unwind, maintain good skin, support your overall wellness, and more. Have you tried it yet? Would you like to share your experience? If you know someone who needs to read my blog post, please share it. Thank you!!
