A lot of these speak to me personally. I used to try and read a book every few months. But here lately I haven’t kept that up. I needed this to remind me that I need to get back to reading and learning again.

Speed reading was such a big concept back when I was in school, getting to the point of the story, scrapping away the fluff to find the facts you needed to answer the questions properly. Especially for testing purposes, now I find the speed reading takes all the authenticity out of what you are reading…. there is no story or interest, just the facts.
